Where is MIA Airport?

Miami International Airport is a hub for domestic and international visitors alike. The airport is centrally located near the residential areas of Miami Springs and Grapeland Heights, with industrial and business districts like Medley and Blue Lagoon to the north and south.

MIA Airport is located on NW 42nd Avenue, also known as LeJuene Road. LeJeune Road is a major street that connects airport travelers and visitors to the main Arrivals and Departures levels as well as the on-site parking garages.

Getting to Miami International Airport

The airport is served by two main highways - the 836/Dolphin Expressway and the 826/Palmetto Expressway. Other than LeJuene Road which runs north to south, the other major road is NW 36 Street which runs east to west, parallel to the north of MIA.

The 836/Dolphin Expressway will give you the most direct access to the airport via the 42nd Avenue/LeJeune Road North exit. If you are traveling on the 826/Palmetto Expressway, there is an interchange where you can exit onto the 836 and head east to exit on LeJuene Road.
